Tearful Tuesday

Morning Mates, prayers and condolences go out this morning for those killed or injured in Boston yesterday, and to all their families and friends. Another black day in American history, it just boggles the mind that someone can do something like this...

Not much going on here today, just thankful for a sunny day with no snow.

Good morning everyone.

Yes, it is a sad day due to the bombing at the Boston Marathon. My heart goes out to the families of the three that were killed and to all those injured. The only thing that I can take some solace over is that it could have been much worse.

My cousin, in England, made a statement that is so true. She is the mother of a policeman on the anti-terror squad.

"There is infinitely more good out there than bad, 1 group/person carried out the bombings yesterday, hundreds helped spontaneously. Take solace from that and go about your day without fear."

I think those are good words to go by.

So, go about your day without fear but give your loved ones an extra hug.

Take care,
Mike

Hi Kids,
A sad day in Beantown. Boston was filled to the brim, on what usually is such a happy family day,and on a dime, it turned tragic. Having so many heroes helping, I am sure made a difference for many.

The outpouring of kindness from Cruisemates and FB pals, who called me, and, posted me, just touched me so...and I thank you all.

Like so many cities across the USA who have suffered from these heinous acts, we have a new normal now.

As mentioned..hug someone you love, you never know.

My DD#2 is a runner. She is currently training for her first full marathon. Who knew that a simple passion for a healthy life has to be so carefully watched as far as when and where you do it.
