Morning Mates, woke up to a change in weather again, cold and very windy, with the promise (threat?) of a spring storm coming tonight into tomorrow bringing 15 cms of snow and ice pellets. Oh joy. It ain't over yet!
Off to aquafitness this morning then I am free for the weekend, it's a pedagogical day, schools are closed so I have a 3 day weekend...
Good morning from the land of never ending Winter. My little snow gauge says we had just over 10 inches of heavy wet snow, followed by blowing and drifting. I awoke to two, four feet high, drifts in my driveway. The wind direction was perfect to blow right between my windbreaks. It took a while but I was able to knock them down and clear the driveway. The worst was the front door. It was completely snowed in. A lot of shoveling to get that clear.
Hopefully the worst is over and now I'll just wait for the city plow truck to come by and clean up what they dump at the end of the driveway. This better be it or I'm going to move in with Kuki.
I hope everyone has a great Friday and a wonderful weekend.

A nice day here today,as was yesterday...nice & warm. A nice day to find a killer.
It's like we are watching a continuous reel of law and order here...I have a friend in the neighborhood under lockdown, so, it's like 6 degrees of separation. She was rather nervous in the middle of the night, and I was up,chatting with her...
Hope all you guys with the rotten weather, get a bright shiny day soon.....
Make it a good one.
Trip, with her book & tea!

Well workers are in the basement cutting out the drywall however we have no heat or hot water. We do have a second furnace for the second floor of our house so at least we have heat up there.
I need to run out and get more bleach and other cleaning supply's
Now for some good news D/S history project made it to the state level so looks as if were heading to Springfield next month.
Also D/S received his acceptance letter to the National Honor Society, thing sure have changed getting into it since I was in high school. To qualify you need to have a high GPA as well as community service, write an essay as to why it's important to be of service to you community and then it gets voted on by the NHS committee....oh yes, you then have to pay $40.00.
A late good morning to you. It's a shortsand flip flop day for sure!
Keith and I spent yesterday at the Nethercott Museum in Sylmar, CA. They have two facilities full of cars restored with historic accuracy, plus a collection of music boxes of every size, and antique pianos. At the end, we were treated tlo a concert given by a Wirlitzer Theater Pipe Organ and a huge antique grand piano that's so heavy, it had to be mounted on a special floor. The Nethercotts own Merl Norman Cosmetics.
Nothing special going on except the battery died on Keith's car.
