We dodged a bullet and only had just over an inch of accumulated snow. Other folks, just a few miles away, weren't so lucky and received six or seven inches of very wet, icy snow. A lot of slippery roads and downed power lines.
I just shoveled the walkway from the driveway to the house. I'm going to leave the driveway for the crazy lady to take care of. No, not Betty but Mother Nature. It is sunny and a high in the upper forties is forecast. The driveway should be clear in an hour or so.
Yesterday, I had an enjoyable and educational shooting class. Afterward, I met my friend for a late lunch. We had a nice time and we will join he and his wife on Saturday for a night out.
I hope all have a great day and I do hope Spring has sprung in your neck of the woods.

Moiraine, I know what you're going through. For only the last two nights have I had six hours or more sleep. Prior to that, as long back as I can remember (which might be last Saturday ), I hadn't had over three to three and a half hours per night and no, I didn't nap meaning I'd lie down but wouldn't go off to sleep.
Enjoy your time with your Mom!
Spring has finally sprung down here in Upper East Tennesse or so it appears. It's a glorious day here today and the forecast for the rest of the week is normal Spring weather (showers here and their, cool nights and warm days).
Hope spring has arrived at everyone else's house as well.
God Bless and oh, BTW, the prayer list continues unabated.

Good morning all from a spring like Texas. It has been warm for the last couple of days, but we are due a cold front this afternoon that will take us back to jacket weather.
We are sleep deprived in the house these days. Sat. we decided to get a new puppy. We have missed having a shepard, since Maggie left us, so we found a breeder that had one left. He is a little boy, which we are not use to, but oh what a ball of joy. He is seven weeks, and his feet are to big for his body.
We always name out pets after movie characters, so his name is Jake, after the movie, "Big Jake"
Bella had so much fun with him the first day, but was P.Od when she realized that thing was now living with us.
The changes have come to Jim's work. Right now he is working from 1:00 to 9:00, and that has taken some getting use to. He is training troops in Japan, which is the reason for the time change.
Another day of sun, to start, and warmth, to get to maybe 70!!! Then, rain/storms due afternoon or evening. Yea! We do not need any more rain for a while!! Not flooded or anything, but plenty damp around here!
DD#2 has offered to clean up our yard and trim out dead stuff from our landscaping. She has been borrowing our wheelbarrow, but I am surprised by her offer to do so much in our yard. She must be up to something!!!
Thinking of Laura and Miss Lilly. Hoping all is going okay for them!
Luanne, another bundle of fun! What kind of shepherd is Jake. We have two Australian Shepherds. Poor Bella, her rank as Queen of the House may be in jeopardy!! I take it that Jim is training from home or a nearby base by internet. Almost like a second shift, my DH has worked and I do not like it!
Hello to the rest on here and to follow. Nice to see Todd is still keeping up with us on his antics! Hope all have a good day!
Happy that it' s already Tuesday again time is running right? Later on it's Christmas again. This Tuesday I'm so busy happy searching for what is cuban cigar because I read a blog about cuban cigars in Edmonton AB and I can't understand it honestly that's why I'm hoping that somebody would help me.
