Morning Mates, I'm getting really tired of this tiny print and no colour choice and no countdown clock!
I hope everyone had a nice Mothers' Day weekend. My kids apparently forgot they even have a mother, but I enjoyed the day just the same because my husband took me to a Mother's Day concert by 2 of our favourite singers/harpists/friends. It was a wonderful show in an informal setting, with afternoon tea and desserts - perfect!
Today I am taking our very fat cat to the vet to see what we can do about her weight....then it's off to work. Hoping it doesn't rain again, because I'd like to be playing outside!
Sun shiny bright out there today, a sign of summer for sure!
Yesterday the clan went out to The 99, for a Mother's day dinner My 4 yr old grandson ate an entire junior steak, and Aiden didn't finish his! His taste is expanding thankfully, so watching him enjoy this foreign food, was fun! If you go there, they have a mac &cheese chicken and brocolli dish, that is killer! A good time was had by all,and with having 2 glasses of wine, I pooped out for a nap when I got home.
I am typing this in red, wonder if it will stay red.
Make it a good one
Trip, with her book & tea!

Good morning mates. I had a nice day yesterday. My mom wanted to go to Taco Bell yesterday, so that was where we went. Then we drove out to the river for a while. My 19 year old daughter took us. My mom was amazed that she wanted to be with us. I just thought it was sweet.
Today is back to business as usual: laundry, cooking, chores.....
I'm coming too you from my new I Pad that I recieved for mothers day.
I had a nice day , all of my siblings and mom got together at my sisters house and orderd Chinese food and just hung out.
The new washer & dryer comes later today and I'm ready !

I am a "One Winged Dove", or in my case a "One Winged Turkey".
Yesterday Betty and I did a weeks worth of work in twelve hours. I did a large amount of lawn work, demolishing a garage cabinet, wash, changing the bedding in all four rooms. Betty worked equally hard. The difference is that Betty is doing fine today but my right arm hurts like heck. I don't know if it was the demolition, lawn work or raking that hurt it but it kept me up until 2:00 a.m. and woke me up at 6:00 a.m.
So, with four hours of sleep I have to finish getting ready for the invasion of my brother and his family. The five of them will spending two days with us before returning to Texas. It will be fun to have them all here.
We did our Mother's Day celebration on Saturday and, like Robin, we had a Chinese Mother's Day. The kids took us to all of our favorite Chinese restaurant and our friend Theresa treated all of like Queens, Kings, Princes and Princesses. Because we celebrated on Saturday I put Betty into forced labor yesterday.
I hope all had a great weekend and I wish everyone a wonderful upcoming weekend.
