I just want to say I really admire her courage to do this and to admit to doing it in public. I have met women who are so overly concerned with their breast "image" that they refuse to get mammograms, etc, because they can't stand the thought of losing one.

As a 3 time breast cancer survivor, all I can say is I applaude her for being proactive, and being open about it. I think she must have had it done in France, because, having it done here, we would have heard about it somehow.
Wishing her continued good health, and I hope her words will inspire women, in the same boat.
Trip, with her book & tea!
