Default Central Florida Cruisers Future Gatherings

Good Morning! It is the "morning after" and I am enjoying the hangover of a pleasant evening last night with the Central Florida Cruisers. We all gathered at Tony Roma's on International Drive in Orlando. Good friends, good food and good fun.
We all decided we had to do it again in the not too distant future. Ray has asked if I would put it together. I agreed and I am here to ask for your help. I think that the greater Orlando area is a good idea as it is fairly central for most of us. The last 3 gatherings were at Tony Roma's so I think it is time for a change of venue.I am wondering if anyone would like a buffet style restaurant such as a Chinese Buffet or a Golden Corral. Have you any suggestions? Please list them and I will be more than happy to consider them for future gatherings. I did consider the Boston Lobster Feast but I think it is rather pricey and most of us would rather not pay that much. As for a time frame I am looking toward the end of July. I did consider the end of June but I think most of us will be busy getting ready for vacations and July 4th activities.. No dates chosen as yet. So give me ideas and we will plan a fantastic time for us all.

Could you possibly hold it in Phoenix, Arizona? (Big grin!)

I went to the very first one, back in 2003, because I happened to be coming off a cruise in Port Canaveral the day before, and I had a GREAT time!

Enjoy!

Jennifer, I sure wish I could. Are there many Cruise Mates out that way? Maybe you can meet Kuki and his wife for a dinner. When I tried to organize one in NH for those CM's in the New England area one person showed up. Norm and I had a delightful dinner and really enjoyed ourselves.

I'm going to try to make the next one.

Since we recently returned from CT., I could not fit this last one in. I'm glad that those who attended had a good time.

We did, indeed, have a lot of fun. We had one get-together at the Cracker Barrel on U.S. 27, which is right in the middle, between Lakeland, and Orlando. That worked out well too, but we don't really mind driving to Orlando, to see good friends. I'm not all that familiar with all the venues over on I-Drive, or in the Orlando area. Just keep us "in the loop".

Hi! I have been checking out restaurant near Orlando for our next gathering. I am considering a Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Kissimmee Fl.
7878 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway
Kissimmee Fl 34747
I have 3 dates in mind if you would like to choose from them. July 25th, 26th or 27th. I will book the restaurant on the date that gets the most votes. If you have other restaurants to suggest please feel free to say so.
