Morning Mates, it may be Memorial Day in the US, but here in Canada it's just another Monday and work day. I'm up extra early today, subbing at a pre-school all morning before my after-school job in the afternoon.
The sun is out today, but it's still cold, not at all like it should be at the end of May.
The font choice and print size buttons seem to be back, because when I type this, it's big enough to read, but when it posts, it is still tiny.
Still waiting for my countdown clock to be fixed too!
Good morning Donna and to all of our cruisemates to follow. WOW! I just dropped in for a moment and I see the new site for us! It took a few moments to get acclimated but I am getting the hang of it . So, what to do on Memorial Day?? Work! But all in all, I am thankful to have a job. I am looking at buying 4 cruises for the rest of this year and I have to pay for them somehow.
Have a great day everyone!!!
Cruised more times than I can remember.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.
Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.

Memorial Day weekend has been a bust weather wise so today we are taking the grandkids shopping and then home. My granddaughter now wants "pretty" underwear so Grandma will take her to Victoria's secret. I guess it's a girl thing.
My grandson and I will shop for guy stuff at the sporting goods store.
I hope all are enjoying their Memorial Day weekend and I also hope that everyone has or will take time to honor those who have fallen to allow us the freedoms we have.
Take care and have a great week.

T'was a glorious Memorial Day here in Upper East Tennessee with a high in the seventies ... not too hot - not too cold! Drove by the National Cemetary today and saw the flags by the side of each veteran's grave including my twin brother's. I of course went by Fran's grave (and my "to be" resting place as well) and appropriately it is within about 60 feet of my twin's.
So great to hear from Michael again! Geesh, thought he'd fallen off the face of the earth there for awhile but then again, I've been among the missing of late due to circumstances beyond my control.
Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day. Betcha' there are a few out there that don't know that for decades, May 30th was known as Decoration Day as I believe beginning in 1868, the day was chosen to annually decorate the graves of the Civil War dead. it has obviously morphed into what we know today as Memorial Day where we honor our dead from all wars, both foreign and domestic.
You'uns take care now and I'll try to be more frequent in my visits.
Of course the daily prayers continue for those in need of prayer.
