Morning Mates, we managed to have one day rain-free and got all the grass mowing and trimming done, but it's wet again today...
On Saturday night when we went to Carver's, our local pub for trivia, the owner came out to talk to me before we went in, and he told me he'd had a plaque made for Emma on "our chair", the one where we always sat with her outside on the porch. We were overwhelmed by this lovely gesture, and there is now a permanent memorial plaque attached to our double wooden seat and table:
Donna, Emma sure leaves a lot of great memories behind. The world could use more Emmas.
Have a nice day folks.

Donna, That is so sweet, but is it bad for you to have to remember her, every time you go there? She sure did touch a lot of lives.
We are still trying to get the paperwork together for this last trip. What a mess. We also have been told about our next trip. This one is to Fayetteville, NC for two weeks. Now I have to try and come up with the air fare.
I finally got up all the dog hair. I had enough to make sweaters for all the children in the shoe. I must remember to tell Josh about the vacuum cleaner.
