Mike, I have been to all the locations that you have visited, but not all on the same trip. Driving through the west is great fun, but it can be a bit tiring.
Mike, keep up the good work, but don't overdo it .I envy you your trip.
We have been having a wonderful time and are really enjoying ourselves. We are on the downhill side of the trip now. We are at my brother's house in Dallas and we will leave tomorrow to head back home. We should make it back Wednesday or Thursday.
I was amazed at how much I enjoyed Arizona. Even with 109 degree temps I was not too hot. It felt like 88 degrees and a 60 degree dew point in Minnesota. I will admit that staying at our friends house, with a pool, made it more enjoyable. It fairly well cemented the fact that we will be buying a house there in the near future. We just have to look at some other areas. Our friend's daughter is a real estate agent and is on the job to find what we want.
Here are a few pictures of our trip.
Betty going for a ride on my brother's Harley.
No Country For Old Men: Or Tiny Bladders. In Eastern New Mexico.
Betty's New Boyfriend: We think she was abducted and probed while in Roswell, New Mexico.
Me with "Ricky, The Water Dog" at our friend's house in Cave Creek.
It's been a fun time and we will be back soon.
