Default Happy Saturday morning

Good morning Mates

The first Saturday of the month is here, I hope that it's a pleasant one for all Cruisemates.

I went to see The Lone Ranger last night. My DW and I liked it but it sure is a different type of western from what the TV series was.
My DW is a big Johnny Depp fan and this movie does have the typical antics that he does so well.
All in all it is worth seeing.

We have a relaxing day in store for us today and we will get together with friends this evening.

TM

I too have a day full on nothing much to do. Pull a few weeds here, load of laundry there, watch some of the Tour de France and most importantly, a nap or two; not a bad day I'd say!!

Enjoy

Good morning Mates, there is another heat advisory warning out today....yesterday we hit 37C with a humidex of over 40C, which translates to over 100F.
Thank goodness James chose yesterday to break down and buy a small room air conditioner! Ahhh, it is lovely in here today...but I have to go out and volunteer at the Ship this morning....it will be hot outside, and even hotter inside the museum!
This is Lobster Carnival weekend, the biggest tourist weekend of the year, so much going on, including a parade tonight, should be fun..

Default Happy Saturday Morning

Good morning. It's going to be steamy here, too, the moonsoons up from Mexico.

Keith is in Riverside today where it's really going to be hot. He took my car because it has a/c. Too bad the hangar doesn't!

Manuel, out here, The Lone Ranger came in second to some animated film. I used to watch The Lone Ranger years ago, too, with Clayton Moore. Critics have panned the movie. Not that that means much when so often, movie goers disagree with the movie critics.

Have a good day!

Judy

That was the case over here as well, but we found the Lone Ranger movie quite enjoyable.
I don't care too much for the animated stuff.

Another hot day loomed for Virginia Beach. All I did was to hit a few garage sales on the way to T.J. Maxx to buy a gift for one of my daughter's friends that had her third daughter. I was lucky to find the book, The Greatest Generation by Tom Brokow. So many of the kids I knew, growing up, fathers' served in World War ll, including my father. How appropos to find this book right after July 4th. Hope all my fellow cruisemates enjoy their weekend.

Dear "lakers fan" glad to hear that you had a great cruise. The good thing about cruising is that there is always "the next cruise" to look forward to. Rob and I will go on our next cruise on November 16h.
