Cruisemates, I mentioned recently about the death of my daughter, April. I am remiss that I did not mentioned my wife, Sandra, noted the birthday of her late son, Erik, this past Sunday. Erik lost his life a year before April lost hers... this happened on Sandra's own birthday. So yes, we lost two adult children within 8 months of one another. Holidays and birthday celebrations aren't the same for us and we really do not celebrate anymore. Again, I ask for prayers for our lost ones and to remind to love those in your own lives, make amends and tell them that you love them.
Cruised more times than I can remember.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.
Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
Mehawk, I am so sorry to hear of your losses. Prayers and good thoughts coming your way.
