Default Hoodsies

A Hoodise is an ice cream cup of vanilla and chocolate, made by the Hood milk company in Boston, hence, they became Hoodsies...As a kid, when you licked the lid, they had movie stars pictures on them....Bruce found some ofr me years back..they are still delish,but...NO wooden spons for me!

This brings back fond memories from my youth. We'd get the Hood ice cream cups in NY too. I used to like to eat a little from each flavor until I had room to mix them into one soupy blend. That was a little hard to eat with those wooden spoons.

I miss those little cups from Hood's Dairy. It had been a long time since I thought of them. Thanks for the sweet memory of childhood. I remember my Mother buying them to serve at my birthday parties with the cake and the blue and pink candy baskets.
