Default Tuesday Morning..

Good Morning Mates

RD where are you?

Up early to take D/H truck in for brakes and then to get some top soil to start the lawn repair now that the work is done.

I am also enjoying the last few day of my 40"s as they are coming to an end this Friday

I was board the other day so I printed two luggage tags for my Dec cruise...its getting closer!!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning Robin, and all Cruisemates.

Just taking a quick break while the grandkids take a shower. Wait.........it's quiet....too quiet.

I've fed the kids and cleaned up the dishes and Betty has gone off to her women's group meeting. Later today we have "shopping" to do. It's off to Costco and the grocery store. The kids have drained us dry of milk and I need to pick up some meat to grill for dinner. However, if the weather stays the way it is now, I think it will be Chinese. It's a nice rainy morning here and we need it. The forecast is for clear skies tomorrow and the rest of the week. That will be nice.

Well, I'm off to herd the kids.

Take care,
Mike

Robin,

I had no problem with 40. I didn't dread it. I did have a "bit" of a problem with 50. It made me realize that I wasn't "young" anymore. Now, the question is: Will I make 60?

Take care,
Mike

Good morning everyone from a sunny, and hot El Paso.

I have been very lazy this morning, playing on the computer, and enjoying my coffee.

We have an interesting situation. Jim found out yesterday that because of the furloughs, Jim's job will end after today. He will then have to drive home tomorrow. My flight doesn't leave until Thursday.

I could:

Pay to change my flight

Forget my flight, and ride with Jim.

Use points to pay for another night here, and fly home on Thursday..

I refuse to stress over it, so I guess I will decide some time today.

Not much else planned, so I hope all of you have a good day.

Luanne

Default Tuesday Morning

Good morning. Getting hotter and hotter.

Luanne, that's quite a situation. I wish I had some of your "non stress" pills. I have jury duty coming up, my driver's license expires this year, and a costly trip (for us, anyway) coming up, and my DH is planning to have complete knee replacement.

I will concentrate on looking forward to a cup of coffee, the comics in the paper, and the fact that it's meatball soup day at Norm's . . .

Good afternoon all, checking in a little late today, over slept and rushed off to aquafitness this morning, then had a bus tour of YMCA day camp kids to give a tour of the Hector, so I've been busy.

It is a stinking hot and humid day, yet gray and dull, so I plan to sit in front of the air conditioner and read my book all afternoon!
