It's another beautiful day in my neck of the woods. I will be going out for a walk in a few minutes and then do a couple of things in my yard.
I'll take easy in the afternoon and so far no plans for the evening.
I hope that you all have a great day.

Good morning everyone from the hot place. Our heat index was 111 yesterday. Not a good day to be outside.
I was so proud of Jake yesterday. A man came to the door to sale of all things, security systems. I listened to the man for a few minutes, not because I was interested, but to be nice, and because he spoke faster than I did.
I finally got a word in, and told him I was not interested. I was standing in the door, and when I told the man I was not interested, the man got closer to me. Jake, who I didn't know was behind me, also approached. No barking, but looking very serious. I told the man my security system was hungry.
Surprise, surprise, he left.
Day 2 was short, but all is fine. Sure will be glad when it is behind us. I knew one of the people. His family has really suffered with this long wait.
Late again today, it's almost noon, been out to the pool, the pharmacy, the bank and the post office, busy morning.
Since I finished painting the bird house and the address sign, I thought I'd spruce up the mail box today so that's my plan.
Weather is perfect, sunny but not too hot.
Have a good one!
Well, we had five telemarketing calls yesterday and one wrong number. Like Mike, they make me really angry with their interuptions and wasting my time. Now they've got a new thing: they don't identify themselves or their company. They just ask for my DH. You can tell what they want, though. Most of the uninvited callers are home remodelers, but we also get solar panel callers, walk-in bath tubs, realtors, and yes, security systems.
I've got a busy day coming up, so best hustle along.
Judy, good way to get rid of telemarketers......tell them you don't own your home. They'll hang up immediately. When you answer...they start talking....interrupt them and say you're a renter. Worked everytime for us!
