Morning Mates, we are getting some tropical weather up here in northeastern Nova Scotia, a little of Tropical Storm Gabrielle. It is extremely warm and humid for Sept. and there is lots of rain and possibly some bad wind in the forecast.
Today, the 12th of Sept.we are celebrating 4 years since we moved to this province. I can't believe it has been 4 years. It was a good move, and I'll never regret it, life is so much more laid back and enjoyable here.
The wild party has ended. My sister showed up yesterday so I had to send the girls home and hide the liquor bottles.
Today will be a grocery shopping run. We'll just buy enough to get buy while my sister is here. I don't want anything left in the fridge while I'm gone for six weeks.
Donna: I'm glad you are enjoying the country life. I like living in a less crowded area. The only problem for me is that, not too long from now, I won't be able to take care of the lawn and other maintenance around here and we'll move.
Betty is in Paris today. Yesterday they were in Brugge and they will stay in Paris for three days and then it's on to Germany. From what I've seen on Facebook my daughter is quite excited about Paris so she woke Betty and her Aunt up around 6:00 a.m.. I wonder how Betty liked that. We may have one less kid right now.
I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning from a rainy, Colorado Springs. It is a cool 56 degrees, and we are still loving it. If only I could take all of this home with me.
I have a new term for all of you. Do you know what a burn scar is? It is new for me. It is what they call an area where the fires have burned off all the foliage. They have closed a major highway due to the rain pushing boulders into the highway.
Not much planned, so I will wish you all a good day.
Does that mean your Dr. visit was successful?
My enzyme were not elevated on my pre-surgery blood work but became so after the surgery, as of now they remain elevated and she not sure if the surgery is the cause. The ultrasound showed mild fatty liver and that was a surprise since I'm really not over weight, don't drink or take drugs, I do need to loose 10 or 15lbs but that shouldn't affect the liver. She gave me the option to retest before my cruise or after it, she suggested after in the event they are higher she doesn't want my trip ruined by me worrying, she said go have fun and yes you can have a few drinks
I felt all along it was surgery related. She had me order from Douglas pharmacy a liver detox pill to help the liver.
Thanks for asking Luanne as I have been worried sick over all this and do feel a little better knowing she's not over concerned at this point, I will taking off 10 - 15 lbs
Hope all of my cruisemates had a wonderful day. This afternoon, our new sofa arrived. (Sofa number three had a rip after fifteen years of good hard use from us, the kids and the grandkids). Now with this sectional, the family room looks so much bigger. Tomorrow night starts Yom Kippur; for those that are celebrating it, may you have a great fast and an even better, break the fast on Saturday night. Enjoy the weekend, fellow cruisemates.
