Default Wednesday Already

Morning Mates, it's Wednesday already and the rain and cloud have cleared out and it is brilliant and sunny again, making the colours on the trees just vibrant! For those of you in Florida who miss the fall colours, here's another taste for you:

As October is passing by quickly I am finally getting into "cruise mode" and starting to think about what I will pack. I have a free morning today and I will be trying on a few fancy duds that I don't usually wear and make they sure they still fit!
How is everyone's week going?

donna

Good morning Donna and all those to follow.

Donna, I have always enjoyed your pictures. Thanks for sharing the beauty.

Thank you all for the love I have felt over the years, even when it was clear I was not cruising.

I will always keep CM in my thoughts and prayers.

Luanne

Good Morning

I need to get my butt in gear and start putting away my outside stuff such as flower pots , patio furniture and all things summer while its still nice out there.

Donna.... Where are you going on your cruise? Also love the fall colors.

Luanne.... Cruising is what bought us together but it's the friendship we've built that keeps us together. XOXO!

Have a blessed day my dear mates!

In answer to Luanne's question yesterday, "What is across Griffin's nose?" it is called several things, a Halti, a Gentle Leader or a Promise. Basically the theory is, a dog will not walk forward in a direction he cannot see. If he pulls on his leash, the device forces his head to the side (he cannot see where he's going) so he stops pulling. It is not 100% effective, but it sure helps with a dog who pulls a lot. We used to use one on Emma too when she was a young headstrong puppy.
It fits across the nose, under the chin, and around up over the back of the head. Good ones also have a clip to attach to the collar because clever little buggers have been known to squirm and rub them off their face!
Here is another view:

Good morning Mates

Donna the foliage is beautiful for sure. I lived in New England for 54 years and I drove to several states many times to see the foliage. However I's still happy with our Palm trees and tall pines here in Palm Coast.
I will be in Ct. in a couple of weeks and there will still be foliage colors around.

Have a nice day folks.

Default Weddnesday Already

A late good morning to you all. Hard to believe, but we are to have some rain tonight.

Appointments are underway for Keith's surgery Nov. 5. Just made an appt. for him to donate blood to himself. Everything else, the clinic did. For me, this is scarey, but it has to be done. Keith's son plans to come to the hospital to sit with me during the surgery.

Have a good day.

Good afternoon Cruise Mates! I have been busy all day but I have some great news to share. I entered Carnival's travel agent promotion a couple of weeks ago. I will be cruising on Carnival Dream on November 30. I am so excited. Now I cant wait to get on the ship and relax.
