CQ...rof

I was waiting for you to ask me that....Smooth Jazz cruisers do not Twerk....we are older and old school...we do "Doin The Butt" instead....Doug E. Fresh is on our cruise and will be MC'ing our first noon time lido deck dance party where 3200 cruisers do "The Dougie" (I'll post a pic)..I bet he will invent a new dance called "The Miley"

According to my neighbors 5 teenage daughters...the hot Halloween dance is where one girl wears a Paula Patton (Robin Thicke's drop dead beautiful wife) mask kicking a Miley Cyrus mask girl in the #$& ....not since Pat Boone tried to do "The Twist" back in the 60's on Dick Clark American's Bandstand tv show has there been such a national disgrace

On a more serious note...as CQ well knows, dance movement is one of the best cardio activities that one can do...unlike a regular cruise, on full days at sea on our charter,
the early morning movement classes on deck can have more then 750 cruisers taking part
and the concerts held on deck at noon and at night can easily have 3000+ dancing the electric slide or the Soul Train line with our favorite artists performing live...

With planning with your cardiologist, one could do 8 sessions of cardiac rehab therapy on a cruise.(I did)..exercise (both cardiac and weights in the gym), healthy heart options on the menu, walking up/down stairs instead of an elevator, spa treatment, walking track on the upper deck, stress relief (moving to the music) and relaxing and having alot of fun...no one comes on this type of music charter to rest, relax, turn in early...we do that when we return home

Well CQ, I walk a lot on a cruise but I also eat a lot. I don't dance, just listen to music. Anyway, have a great time!

Actually, I do drop a few pounds, but I also eat alot more then I do at home....my dietitian and I went over the Carnival Freedom's menus and most of the heart healthy items I would have ordered anyway...the big difference is that I would have my desserts at lunch, rather then dinner...I normally walk 5 miles a day at home, but by staying active on the cruise, burn the same amount of calories...since I eat very healthy at home, I can indulge on the cruise and I love Carnival's food so I have whatever I want, including what I should not have I have a slice of pizza every night at 0200 am along with my yogurt ice cream cone...since I don't drink alcohol or soda's that helps also...I have a weakness for desserts so having 2-3 at lunch gives me the rest of the day and evening to burn off

Alot of walking is key, because there are so many activities on our charter, I am always moving..it's the opposite of what one normally does on a regular cruise...as I have gotten older, I find I can dance to one song for a good 3 minutes, sit out the next 5 songs, then repeat the cycleIf I tried to keep up dancing with CQ, they would have to call the paramedics

Whew! I'm with Venice! They'd have to call the paramedics!

On Carnival I do love the chocolate melting cake in the MDR.
