Morning mates, it's Friday and a very good day. Why? Because the sun is shining, I don't have to go to work today, and I am one day closer to cruising!
Am I excited or what?
I'll be off to my last aquafitness class soon, then home to do some last minute packing stuff and gardening before I go. (have to get those bulbs in before it's too late!)
Today I wanted to share with you a photo I took yesterday of a craft activity I did with the kids.
The premise was "paint the pumpkin patch", and each kid painted his or her own pumpkin any way they wanted. Well, I got some happy pumpkins, some scary pumpkins, some big ones, some tiny ones, but my favourite was the pumpkin with Wi Fi and an I-Pod! Further proof that this generation is just way too "plugged in"!

Good news for Keith's brother, Wendell: he was moved from the ICU for a regular hospital room. Now the physical therapy begins in earnest.
Keith's own surgery is coming up soon. Just about every day, there's some sort of pre-surgery thing to do. Monday he will have the dentist put in a new bridge. A pricey thing but it had to be done. Did you know that tooth decay can make the body reject a prothesis? Other things can, too. Keith is taking an antibiotic because of a cream that he was using to get rid of a lot of skin cancers on his head. A hat is now mandatory.
