Michael, sorry to hear that it was a rough cruise. I hope you didn't have to use the barf bags. I have "yet" to be seasick but sooner or later it could happen.
Absolutely nothing on the agenda for today. Then again, I said that earlier and we ended up going to the movies with my daughter, SIL and the grandkids on Friday. The grandkids had to come home with grandpa and grandma so they spent the night with us on Friday and all day yesterday. We had a nice dinner with all last night. It was an easy dinner. Take out BBQ from Famous Dave's. Someone went a bit overboard in ordering so there are leftover 'o plenty.
Betty and I have been looking at some of the great cruise prices right now but nothing fits into the holiday agenda. There is a Christmas party or other engagement that doesn't allow us to take advantage of them. There is a great deal on NCL Jewel, out of New Orlean, for next week if anyone is looking for a cheap cruise.
I hope all are doing well and I wish everyone a wonderful upcoming week.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas or at least a the house I passed last night I always say Respect the Bird...no Christmas décor until after Thanksgiving!!
I can here the weather guy as I type talking about a little snow coming our way
I hade a busy weekend with way to much eating and feel like I put back on the 17lbs I lost over the past few months...back to portion control today!
My cruise is approaching quickly and as excited as I am I don't want the anticipation to be over with as I won't have another cruise to look forward to for at least a year.

Good morning. although it's a beautiful sunny day, it seems strange, as it has all week, to be sitting here alone with my cup of coffee.
As I said on Saturday, to my surprise, Keith has turned out to be a difficult patient. Hopefully, he can come home on Monday so that he can start to recover peacefully.
It's been exhausting for me combining being sick with being a caretaker. The latter will continue, obviously, but he is doing very well, and I know it will all go away at some point.
I know I shouldn't be whiney. We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Keith did very well in the surgery; that could have gone differently.
He also could be in the shoes of the poor man in the next bed. His legs have been removed from the mid calf on down. He is in terrible pain and suffers from awful nightmares that keeps his roommate awake and everyone close by. This man suffers. No one comes to see him that I can see. He certainly could use some CruiseMates prayers.
I am going to do the Sunday crossword, enjoy my coffee and have some breakfast. Later, I'll go see Keith. Yesterday, I brought him the wrong chargers! But at least his kindle works.
