Morning mates, it's sunny but BRRRRR out there this morning, only -3C but the wind feels colder.
We are headed out on a short shopping trip, got a few errands to do before work. Had a bit of snow last night so I hope the roads are not bad...
Have a good Hump Day everybody!
Geesh Donna, everyone must really be sleeping in today!
We too (as was a quarter of the country) well below freezing last night. Thankfully for those of us who are long time members of the WGFOOK! Club (We Gonna' Fall On Our Keester's Club!), we've yet to experience any snow or ice to really speak of. They had only about an inch or two while I was hospitalized...just enough to make things beautiful.
I was piddlin' around the house all last night until around 0600 Eastern Dark Time at which time I lay down for an hour and a half. Can't believe I'm suffering from such sleep deprivation but one good thing about it is I am back to reading voraciously.
Hope all 'o you'uns have a marvelous Hump Day and if the cold is already getting to you, maybe now would be the perfect time to take on a cruise! Sure wish I could!
Love to All and God Bless!

Good morning from the balmy state of Minnesota. It is a balmy -16F or -27C outside, with clear skies and a 15mph wind. That puts the windchill around -35F. Oh Boy! That's invigorating.
We had a lovely dinner with friends last night. I did a bone in pork loin, seasoned with garlic, rosemary, sage, salt and coarse ground pepper. It was also topped with bacon to add flavor and moisture. It was a 2 Lipitor dinner but it sure was good, even if I say so myself. The Brazilian potatoes and leeks with peas were also dang good. I don't think I will eat today..........Then again, those leftovers in the fridge are calling my name.
We confirmed that we will be going to Hawaii at the end of January. We will first stop in the Seattle area for three or four days to visit Betty's sister and then on to Maui and spend two weeks with our friends. Their new home is on the beach and has a separate master suite so it will be nice. The only negative is the price of rental cars. I looked last night and they definitely have gone up in the last few years. I'll have to do some more research and see what I can come up with. Priceline here I come.
I hope all have a great Wednesday and I hope everyone stays warm. Forgive me if I'm not too emphatic if you are suffering through 40 degree cold.

Mike, we got you beat at a warm 18 F with a bit of wind. Tonight's low is 6 with below 0 wind chills. And, stupid me, I am going shopping tomorrow. Gotta take a coat and then lug it around inside the stores, as my internal temp goes wacky! Ugh!
We are having a bit of snow, too. Suppose to get about an inch. Just the right amount to make it pretty outside and not too much of a problem on the roads.
Same old, same old around here. Worked on scrapbooking last night and also on a puzzle. I started an easy, 300-piece one last week and have it 3/4 done. All that is left is a bunch of white snow - not easy!
We had a busy morning with getting some blood tests done and a trip to the supermarket. I feel bad for all of you who are experiencing cold since the weather over here is still very summer-like.
I do hope that you all have a nice day even it it's a cold one.
