Good afternoon Mates, I am very late today as I slept in most of the morning after a sleepless night of coughing. I now have laryngitis on top of everything else, feeling just peachy. Not!
The weather is not much better. Last night we had another mini snowstorm (5 cms) followed today by freezing rain and rain. I have to go out in a bit for a hair appointment, and again tonight because friends bought me a ticket to a Christmas performance by one of my fave local artists. I really feel like staying in bed, but that will be tomorrow, when we are due to have a major ice and rain storm, again cancelling my friends' plans for a pre-Christmas dinner. Don't you just love this time of year?
Oh, and as of last night I am officially "retired", or unemployed as it were. We had a "staff" dinner last night that was dull, boring, exclusive and not one word was said in thanks, appreciation or goodbye. I say "good riddance!"
Donna, I hope that you feel better soon. And let me tell you that the people that you work may not have appreciated you, but we do. You are certainly loved here at Cruisemates.
We are enjoying this time of the year celebrating the Holiday and Mrs. TM's birthday ( Dec. 19th. ) So far I have taken her out for dinner on her birthday and to a party yesterday and today friends are taking us out to our favorite restaurant in this area [The Top of Daytona].
Enjoy the weekend folks.

Another busy day here. Now that 95% of our move and setting up is complete it is time to focus on Christmas. As of early evening we do have the tree up and decorated. RD...hope you feel well soon; sounds like the group you worked with were not very nice. Enjoy your retirement and Merry Christmas.
