Good morning Cruisemates. Here in sunny Ottawa we are beginning to crawl out of the deep freeze and we will get 3-4 days of mild weather and it should go a long way to removing the ice on our roads. I've had enough cold weather to last me the rest of the winter and I'm looking forward to our cruise next month and the 2 days we will have in Manhattan.
We too are starting to warm up but rain and flooding is a concern for many.
The size of the thread seems to be a little messed up so I thought I would keep it that way by adding a feel good picture for all of us that are in need of warmer days.

Today my daughter turns 30. I can't possibly be old enough to be her mother, but apparently I am.
That's because you were very young when she was born.
I wish your daughter a Happy Birthday!

Good afternoon from Virginia Beach, where, here too, we have been blessed with a day that is in the "upper 30's". Being a "Jersey girl", I should have been use to this cold weather but, for almost forty-two years I have lived "south of the Mason-Dixon line". To get brief respite from the cold weather, Rob and usually take at least one cruise a year, in the winter, to the caribbean. Rollerdonna, I understand how you feel with your daughter turning thirty. My oldest daughter will become forty in May! Talk about feeling old! I guess age is a matter of attitude! Hope that all of my fellow cruisemates have a great day.
