Morning Mates, wow, mid January already, where does the time go?
We've had very mild temperatures and rain overnight, so the lawn in almost entirely green and brown again instead of 3 feet of snow! It looks like spring, but we know better....
Had a great time last night at the writer's workshop, learned a lot, can't wait for the next one.
Today hubby and I are going for a walk....around and around the indoor pool deck where "winter walking" is offered 2 mornings a week. Must keep the exercise going....
Good morning. An earthquake rolled through about 1:30 in the morning. I couldn't go back to sleep after that.
We're taking Keith's car in for brake work. He sees the orthopedist for the final time this afternoon. He did his last physical therapy yesterday but she said she wants to see him in a year. Probably to see if the swelling has gone down.
Donna, how's Griffin doing? Haven't seen any cute pics of him for a while.
Good morning all. The winds are still blowing very hard here. Along with the high winds and 80 plus degree temps we were greeted with a 4.4 magnitude earthquake this morning. The center of it was just 3 miles from my home so we shook and rolled pretty good. No damage done just some rattled nerves. Everyone have a pleasant day.
Good evening from Virginia Beach, where it was a balmy, in the 50's, today. Thank G-d there was no rain! After going to the gym, I went out to lunch with a friend at Logans. (I just love when they have coupons, valid usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for up to $12 off). Tonight I am running washes and getting things ready to leave town on Friday for the weekend. Hopefully, there will not be any snow in northern Virginia. Hope that all my fellow cruisemates had a great day.
