Cool Thursday morning
Good morning Mates
It's a cool morning here. The tem. is down to 41 deg. My says that it's cold, but since it's sunny and the tem. will be going up to the low sixties, I say that it's not bad at all.
I have to go for some blood work then a nice breakfast.
Have a nice day folks.

Cool here also but the sun is shinning. We got home from our cruise Sunday evening and I have been busy getting caught up on things around the office and house. We had a nice time even though the weather did not co-operate for a few days. We were unable to stop in Roatan which was a big disappointment for me. That is why we picked this itinerary. Winds were to high and forecast to get worse that day. Oh well maybe next time.
Hope everyone survived the below O temps while we were gone. I guess I picked a great week to leave Ohio!

A blustery, gray day in NW Ohio. It is low 20's and is to snow a couple of inches, tops. Yeah :>(
Not much happening here. DH is sleeping and so are the dogs. I hope to finish my clients' year-end work today. Meeting with client end of next week and then working on our personal taxes. Another yeah :>(
Manuel, I'll take your sixties weather! Hope the blood work is okay!
TravelgalSue, sorry you missed Roatan as it was a main reason for the cruise. You did pick an excellent week to be gone, though. Truly, -14 F (with -40 F wind chill) was not a temperature I wish to see again soon!!
Have a good day, all!

Morning Mates, a little late today as I was rushing out to aquafitness this morning...
Temps are hovering around 10, that's + 10C, or about 50F and it is raining hard, so that little bit of snow left on the ground in spots will be gone today.
It looks like spring, but we know better....
Looks like another day of relaxing indoors with a good book.
Judy, Griffin is doing fine, and I have some new pics of him I need to upload....in the meantime, we are looking for a playmate for him as he misses Emma and is driving the poor cat crazy trying to play!

Good morning from "Blizzard Country". We had a bit of snow last night but the big deal is the wind. 50 MPH winds are whipping the snow around and depositing it in my driveway. Betty has blown the driveway twice since last night and it's already drifting back in. I think the wind knows just the right direction to blow so it avoids my trees and drifts in the driveway.
I had my cortisone shot yesterday. So far there is no change and yesterday it hurt more after the shot than before. The radiologist said it would take 3 - 5 days to notice a change and 10 days before the full effect would set in. If no relief then it is back to the spine guy.
Betty has decided not to go to her women's group because of the roads and we just saw that the grandchildren's schools are closing. Wow, they just got there.
So I guess, it's going to be a DVR day here.
I hope everyone has a great Thursday!
Sue: Sorry you missed Roatan. I rather liked it. Other than the Carnival pier.
Take care,
Mike

Cool Thursdday Morning
Good morning. It's the same ol' story here: very, very dry, extended fire alerts, busy fire departments.
I have a routine, yearly visit with the oncologist today.
Have a good day, people. Stay safe, dry, and warm.

Well, there was a "temperature drop" today in Virginia Beach. I still, went to the gym and then Rob and I took advantage of "restaurant week" and went to Gordon Biersch for lunch. If there is a "restaurant week", in the area that you live, you might consider going. Not only are the prices great but it gets you to try restaurants that you might not have been to before. Usually "restaurant week" occurs in the middle or end of January in many places. We are headed up to northern Virginia, tomorrow. Have a great weekend, fellow cruisemates!
