Morning Mates, it's a beautiful sunny Saturday of +5C or 41F, but don't let that fool you....there are already weather warnings out for snow moving in tonight bringing us 15-30cms of the white stuff by tomorrow. Sad, because all the snow we had before Christmas is completely gone, it looks like spring out there right now. Oh well, at least we will have room to put it now when we have to shovel some more...
No plans for the day, just another day in paradise....
Good morning. Another very warm day here and single digit humidity. The fire in the San Gabriel Mts. is still going, though under more control. As far as I know, the three idiots that started it are still in jail with heavy fines that they will be paying for for the rest of their lives, hopefully. Authorities say that they are not arsonists, since the intent was not to burn everything down. It was "stupid criminality."
Keith is getting ready to go to Riverside where it will be 85 today. Some areas had almost 90. I plan to do some housework that I've been putting off.
The weather is cooler than average for a few days, but the fifties and sunny is not so bad.
We have a few things to do today but still on a light schedule.
I hope that you all have a nice weekend.

OK: I could have sworn I posted a "good morning" earlier. hmmmmmmm
Oh well: "Good Afternoon" all Cruisemates and to all the ships at sea.
It has turned into quite a nice day. Sunny and temps in the mid-teens. I awoke at 6:00 a.m. to 5+ inches of snow. Betty was asleep so I fired up the snow blower and did the driveway. It was a light and fluffy snow so the blower easily went through it. Betty was a little "irritated" that I did it but so far no problem with the back so the shot may be finally working. I did do it without manhandling the snowblower. It took a little longer but it got done.
I now have a stew simmering on the stove. That will be our "Lupper". I had to use some meat that Betty took out and also a rutabaga and parsnips that had been in the veggie drawer for over a week. So I made the stew even though I was hoping to talk Betty into going out to dinner tonight. Oh well, I guess I saved myself $50 - $60.
I hope everyone has a great Saturday and wonderful rest of the weekend.
Judy: Don't catch fire.

You might want to be prepared for a bit more than the forecaster said. We were also all cleared away from the holiday snows, one to three inches forecast for today. It started snowing about 11 a.m. and is still going 3 hours later; we're at about 5 inches now and there are no signs of it letting up.
