Welcome....from another Canadian. This is a great site and if you have any cruise questions you can post them on the appropriate category and generally get answers within minutes. Do you have a cruise planned right now?

and a big welcome from us too. As canuckity has already said the site is great at answering all sorts of questions, no matter how unusual, and never be afraid to ask what may seem like the obvious, we were all there once

Hello Canadian Couple, and welcome from another Canadian Couple! We are ex-Montrealers now living in Nova Scotia, and love to cruise to escape our winters. Not this winter unfortunately, but I hope you'll share your adventures on the Independence with us! We welcome questions, opinions and especially photos!
Welcome, Canadian Couple, from the Arizona desert. Enjoy your cruise on the Independence of the Seas, and come back and report on it so we can all cruise vicariously through you! We just booked out next cruise, and it's always fun to have one to look forward to.

Welcome, Canadian Couple, from another Canadian couple - also from Ontario. Hope you enjoy the Independence. We are booked to sail on her next January for the first time. We were just on the Liberty of the Seas last month, and enjoyed that trip tremendously. The Independence is in the same class of ship, so you should have a good time.
Well we completed out cruise of the Independence and had a wonderful time. Had great weather the whole week. Thought we would share some of the good things to start.
Wait staff at our table was top notch and the best we have had so far. Our stateroom attendant was also top notch. Made sure we had everything we needed.
Plenty to do on this ship for everyone. If you're board then you are the problem for sure. Ship was clean for the most part (the ice cream station was a mess at times but will save the bad for another post).
Enjoyed every stop but one and have to say Labadee is by far the best stop. We have been there twice and once again we didn't want to leave. Enjoyed the friendly staff on the island, the zip line and of course the beach's.
As far as the smoking policy it appeared that the were on top of it the whole cruise. We did see someone down the hall fro our cabin getting instructed by a rather large security guard and manger being told they weren't allowed to smoke in their stateroom or balcony at any time. Only saw smokers on ine side of the ship on the pool deck and in the casino.
Welcome Canadian Couple sounds like a fun cruise. What other stops did you go on? Any favorite food on the ship? What about the shows any good? I enjoy hear about cruises. I don't go again until December that's a big one for us a 15 day to Hawaii on Princess.
