Morning Mates, it's been a wild 24 hours, from clear and sunny to high winds, heavy snowstorm, ice pellets all night, rain this morning, and threats of storm surges along the coast. Looks like a good day for staying inside.
Finished the painting yesterday, will post pics once I get finished re-decorating.
Meanwhile, here's one of Griffin for Valentine's weekend...
Well looks as if they've changed our weather forecast ....long gone is the 50f temps we were due to get later this week, now I only see one day at 40f !
We too have 2- 5 inches of new snow expected tomorrow. if any of you hear me complain one time this summer about being too hot reach out and give me a slap!
Looks as if Ray might try and join me on my Breeze cruise in May now if we can a few more of our CM's to join in!
When I posted this morning it was mild and pouring rain. 3 hours later we are having a raging snowstorm. James went out when it was clear, he is going to be having a heart attack driving home in this....
Good morning. Sunny and a little cooler, the weathermavens tell us. Some newspaper columnist called California "drier than a stale tortilla."
You'd think we had bad weather what with all the road closures. Downtown, streets are closed for a two-day pour of concrete for a basement/foundation for a new hotel. Elsewhere, there's freeway widening work.
Other than the paper, crossword, and breakfast, nothing special planned today.
Donna, what a nice greeting: please give Griffin a scratch behind the ears for me!
Good afternoon from Virginia Beach where it is cold but, thankfully, no snow. Later in the week it is supposed to go into the low 60's. I hope that this "upcoming warm weather" stays for when Rob and I use a timeshare in Brigantine, N.J., the first week of March. Rollerdonna, your dog, Griffin, is adorable! Rob and I so miss having dogs but we travel too much. (Brandy and Muffy would cry ever time we went out of town). I rose early this morning and went to the gym. Just being lazy, today.
