Morning Mates, so far March is turning out to be another February weather wise. It is snowing again, and the temp is -13C, an improvement over yesterday morning when it was -26C!!
Next week is march Break for us, but sadly we are not going anywhere this year.
Well, now that yesterdays' little adventure in Halifax is over, we can breathe a sigh of relief and relax a little. If only I could convince James of this! He is a born worrier and this whole thing has hit him hard. I keep telling him "live life to the fullest, one day at a time!"
Donna I want James to know that he has a lot of support from all of the nice people on Cruisemates. I certainly agree that a person has to live each day to the fullest. Sometimes we all worry about certain things, but if we can go on with our lives we often find that we were needlessly wasting our time worrying .
You and James need to keep on doing the fun things that you enjoy.
Now I wish everybody a nice day.

After one week of a very nasty flu both Betty and I are coming out of the woods. We aren't 100% but we are both feeling like actual living humans. I still have some head congestion and Betty has a bit of a cough but nothing like last week. Heck, we felt so good we bought a new TV at Costco after we dropped my brother off at the airport. They had an "open box" model of the size and model I've been wanting for the bedroom and it was $150 off. I hadn't bought one because we really didn't "need" it but at that price I couldn't say no. I am still amazed at where we are with technology. Fifteen years ago I would have never believed someone if they told me that I could lift a 46" TV with one arm.
There is nothing on today's agenda. Betty and I are not going to push things and take a day just to rest, even though I just got back from the eye doctor. If we're feeling good tomorrow then we will kick it in high gear and make up for this last, "lost", week.
I hope all are well.
Donna: Tell James that worry will cause him more problems than the disease will. I know he'll do fine.
