Morning Mates, it's been like a long weekend around here, well actually it WAS a long weekend, seeing that yesterday we celebrated Canada's 147th birthday! I had a busy day, helping to decorate a float for the parade, attending the parade, taking the dogs into town for further celebrations, and then being too tired to go back out for the fireworks.
Here's a pic of me with my fur babies, even the cat got in on this one!
Gem is growing like a bad weed, she is all legs at this point! Griffin needs a haircut, but it is a 3 week wait for our groomer. He's got 10 more days...
Good morning. Back home again. Going away for a few days makes you appreciate it more. The "enter" key on my laptop has decided to take its own vacation, so no paragraphs. Santa Barbara's only two hours away, but the climate is so different. Overcast every morning and cool afternoons. The hotel was across the street from the beach and was built in the 1920's, so it wasn't slick, contemporary or splashy glamorous like many other Hyatt's. We had a great rate, too.
Finally, a paragraph maker! It's back to normal with all the stuff you gotta do when you come home.
Wow, no responses!! Well, it is a nicer day in NW Ohio. High of 80 and only a slight chance of a sprinkle. We have had rain/storms for several days and heat and humidity to make you wither in a heartbeat.
Donna, those are such nice looking fur babies. Enjoy them! I remember the "all legs" stage. When Holly was there, she was quite lanky and clumsy!
Been busy, and still busy. Hope all have a great day!
It's quite warm here with temps in the nineties. We are getting together with family and friends and will celebrate the 4th. with a picnic followed by fireworks.
