Changed our cruise to June 1st <less waiting time> and all is finalized. The Princess site has a place where our cruise is all set up where we can make reserve shore excursions and yes count down days Very cool
Got an sms from my smom this morning from Germany about my father <88> He broke his arm 2 weeks ago while on vacation and he has not been so well. I am debating to go earlier to spend some time with him..we shall see.

Dec 9th 2015 Land cruise to Germany and Venice Italy
June 1st 2015--- Denali Explorer Cruise on Star Princess!
Morning Sue, glad you decided to stick around. It is hard when your parents are so far away and you are helpless to be there for them. Hope your dad is improving...
I missed posting yesterday, we were off on another Wednesday adventure. We are taking 1 day a week this summer to explore our new adopted home of Nova Scotia. We did a 400km round trip, visiting a few little towns and provincial parks, and other interesting places along the way. One of these was a Dutch Cheese Factory where we have gone before for their very good cheese, but had never explored their nature park. they have 100 acres of beautiful gardens, woodland, and many many animals. It was an enjoyable walk around and here is just one view, over the Bay of Fundy (body of water between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick).
Today, it's back to normal, just sitting around trying to beat the heat!
Greetings from almost always sunny Patzcuaro, Michoacan, Mex. We just booked an October 30 cruise on the Grand Princess for ten nights out of Los Angeles. There are two new ports for us up in the Sea of Cortez. The cruise fare was pretty good and the weather will be AOK that time of year. Cant wait. Chuck and David
P.S. After 30 years of living together we are now legally married in the state of Washington...So I guess this is our honeymoon.lol No more living in sin for us.
