Default Wednesday Morning

Morning Mates, it is still very early (dark) and all I can see of the weather is a lot of fog. Hopefully that will lift before I have to drive to work.
We had a nice day yesterday for all the Remembrance Day celebrations that took place.
Today is work, then relax, take the dogs for a walk.

Mike, sorry to hear you came home to all that snow. Other than a little dusting, we have been spared so far, but I know it's coming....

Good morning everyone.

It's somewhat cold here. The temp was 17 fahrenheit or -8 for those north of the border.

I was out at 8:30 p.m. last night after a day of more snow blowing, clothes washing, vacuuming, dusting and cooking. I braised a small pork shoulder and went a bit Asian and used some curry powder, coriander and five spice in the braise. It was dang good and the braising liquid made a great sauce.

Today is a "who knows" day. I may book airfare to Dallas to see my brother and celebrate his 60th birthday. The conflict is that it is the same weekend that Betty's old work has their Christmas party and she was invited and really wants to go. They always have a big affair and usually give out nice gifts to those who attend. She also wants to catch up with people. For me it's not a big deal so we may end up parting ways for that weekend. Neither of us wants to but we both know the other would resent it if we both went one way or the other. Ah, decisions, decisions.

I hope all have a great Wednesday and a darn good rest of the week.

Take care,
Mike

Good morning Gang

I certainly feel for the people in facing an early winter. I put up with many winters but never liked them at all. I hope that you all get an Indian Summer in a few day.

Today is another warm, sunny day here so I have to do some work in my yard.

Have a nice day and stay warm.

TM

Default Wednesday Morning

Good morning. A thick marine layer and cool temp greeted the early risers this morning. We didn't see sun yesterday at all. Unfortunately, it never did rain.

Lots of errands to do today.

Have a good day,everybody.

Colder temps and a good stiff breeze is what we have today. Yesterday we went to the Remembrance Day Ceremony and the weather really cooperated to give us a nice warmish day that allowed our Vets to be comfortable as they sat through the ceremony that was almost an hour and a half. So thankful to those who served or are serving. As our Governor General said..."Freedom without peace is agony, and peace without freedom is slavery."
