Default Most Unforgettable person

Who is the most unforgettable person you have ever known ?

For me it has to be my late cousin Abe .He enlisted into the US Army on December 8,1941 and became a career soldier.
Afterward he became a member of the CIA and became one of their most respected people.

It has to be my Dad. He came to the US from Germany at the age of 16, alone. His parent's could only afford to send him, and they and his sister's and other family members perished in the concentration camps.

He worked as a gardener for some very well off people here, then enlisted in the Army where he was an Interpreter.

After that, Daddy worked his way up through the American Dream (marrying my Mom in 1946) and working for the same company for 45 years. He was very active in our Synagogue for many years as Head Gabbi (lay leader).

He never met a stranger! He's definitely my hero !

My father came to the US from Poland at age 17 .Both he and my mother had siblings who died in concentration camps.
My father was not at all active in his Synagogue but inspired me to be as active as I was in the 18 years I was a member .

Len, I also have short term memory lapses, so I enjoy your "duplicates". My brain doesn't know I've already read them and I enjoy them !

I would be happy to post my thoughts but I would then have to go into the witness protection program...
