Default Good Sunday Morning

An early good morning to all. It's almost 5 a.m. I couldn't go back to sleep, mostly because I was too warm.

No plans for today except to read the Los Angeles Times and talk Keith into going to King's Fish House for lunch. It'll be a nice day to have lunch on their patio.

Have a good Sunday, people.

Morning Judy, hope you are feeling better and dealing with that rash. Enjoy your lunch out.

Looks like another perfect weather day here. Wish I could do something or go somewhere to enjoy it, but must stick close to home.

Have a good day all!

Good morning. Have done pretty much all I am doing for the day.
Bruce is mowing and that probably will be his day. This afternoon we will watch the race.

All have a great day.

Good morning everyone.

There isn't too much on the agenda. We have our grandson with us this weekend. We haven't got up too much with him except going to the movies. Today, the first born male child is coming for lunch and I'll do some steaks on the grill and cook up some corn we bought at the farmer's market.

If some of you didn't know, Betty broke her hip when she wiped out on her Razr Scooter on June 30th. She had surgery on July 1st. She took the driveway too fast. She had a partial hip implant (femoral head and neck) and is well on the way to recovery. She ditched her walker after one week and is moving around very well now. She was the "Rock Star" at the hospital and with her doctors. They loved the fact that she broke her hip riding a scooter at 71. Her bone density is EXCELLENT and her surgeon said that the same injury would have happened to a 30 year old. The scooter is retired for this year and we'll see about next year. She will make a full recovery but she is bummed that she now has her first visible surgical scar. After 8 or 10 more she may catch up to me.

Donna: I hope James is doing better and Judy, I'm sorry it was so hot in the house. After 33 years together, the only thing Betty and I argue about is the setting on the thermostat. She likes it warm (hot) and I like it cool (cold).

I hope everyone has a great Sunday and a wonderful week.

Take care,

Good afternoon. Today we are not doing much as we will have a really busy week. Joanne's mom's 90th birthday celebration is net weekend and we are responsible for everything that it entails. Also, very early on the 31st we begin our family holiday. Wake up time will be about 2 am for our 5:25 am flight and with a 7, 13 and 16 yr old there is bound to be some tiredness and grumpiness. So, with preparing for 2 totally different things we will be busy. Have a good day!

Mike, I am the same age as your wife. I did not have any surgical scars until I was 69 but since then I collected a few. Between heart surgery and gall bladder removal I have a few markings on my chest.

I'm glad that betty is doing OK.
