Default Wednesday Woes

Morning Mates, the "woes" come from the weather forecast; we are in for the first big storm of the season tomorrow, bringing snow, rain, ice pellets and high winds and storm surges to our region. Today is the day for stocking up on food and water,, new batteries in the flashlights, and batten down the hatches!

I will be at the mall again today, hopefully for the last time as the calendars are almost sold out. I'm sure there are still a few people who are realizing they still need a new calendar!

Good Morning Donna and Mates to follow

We are in the positive temps this morning and 15f feels like a warm up. We do have a dusting of snow coming down however but nothing that will amount to much.

Well we are 47 days away from our cruise, it will be myself , Shirley, Ray & granddaughter and Laura. Wish a few more CMs would of joined in but that okay.
This will be my third cruise with Ray and it seems Im getting to meet many of his grandchildren.

No big plans for me so far.

Donna....stock up on everything you need and may need....stay safe and warm.

Wishing all a good day.

We expect the same weather here.We hope that we do not lose power because it will be about minus 20 here tomorrow night.
My stairlift has a back up battery and we have a lot of flashlights .We are getting our blankets ready .

Good morning from wet Palm Coast.

W e are getting quite a bit of rain but it's great for the new sod they put down after the pool was built. The pool is pretty much ready to go. Next Monday the temp will over 70 so the technician will test the heater and the pump and filter system.

To day we are getting rid of old papers that are no longer needed. Mrs/ TM goes over them very carefully and I put some in the recycle pile and shred the others.

Have a nice day, folks and stay warm.

Default Wednesday Woes

Good morning. No weather woes here. We are expecting some much needed rain on Friday.

Health woes, yes. I still have the flu. Got it a few days before Christmas. So far, all the pills and potions haven't helped. I have a fierce backache. I am definitely tired of the bug!

Good afternoon. WEll the temp is falling here and right now we have some rain. Have brought in all the orchids that I can plus the Christmas cactus and later will cover what can't be brought in as the temp tonight will be low 30's and wind chill in the 20's. I will be making ham an d beans for dinner so that will be good and hot.

All have a great day.

I'm happy that we are getting rain. Since we had new sod put in a couple of weeks ago, a good soaking is what we need.

Our town schools are closed tomorrow as are many businesses.
We were in a large food store today and the shelves were bare .I never saw anything like this .
Our primary concern is a power failure ,however we have a cousin who is with the Rescue Squad at the town Fire Dept which is 2 minutes from here.
