Default Atlantica Embarkation

We are sailing 4/8/01 Western itinerary. Ship departs at 7pm, boards at 1pm. Does anyone know if pools are filled, is early dinner served? Seems like a long time to be on board without something to do!

You will have regular sail away buffet served from the beginning of embarkation until maybe 4pm. Early seating (6:15) and late at 8:45, exactly as when at sea. All the regular activities are going on. I just cannot remember if the pools are filled but will check.

Thanks for the info. It would be nice to know about the pools, we would carry on our swim suits in case luggage doesn't arrive until later in the evening.

I'm told the midship pool is open. Your luggage surely will be delivered during the afternoon, assuming you embark at 1 or 2pm. I guess if swimming at the pool is important you probably should bring your swimming gear separately. Most people, I would expect, spend the first afternoon exploring the new ship... and there is a lot of ship to explore!!!
