Back from Atlantica!

I had a WONDERFUL cruise! Everything was fantastic shipwise and well as weather and flights. I will be posting a review on this site in the next few days. If anyone has any specific questions, please post here or e-mail me directly.

Hi Matt !
It´s good to hear you had a nice cruise. We have to wait still 7 weeks...
We have a little boy (4) , its his 5th cruise but the first with the Atlantica. Do you know something about the non-alcoholic beverages??? Is it true you can get juices for free 24 hours a day or only during the meals in the buffett area ? On our last cruise with the Costa Victoria we had almost some trouble to get an ordinary apple juice for him during dining time in the restaurant. And what about the drinkcards for kids with the
non-alcoholic stuff. We´ll have 18 day´s at the ship , We have to buy this cards before the cruise or is it possible at every time and can we use this budget from the card for the funny drinks from the barservice, like "Jurassic Park" :-) ?

I read on the Costa message boards at cruisecritic.com that they offer a non-alcoholic drink card for $39.00 - one person stating that it's good for 20 drinks, another that it represents a 30% discount, and a third stating that the drinks cost $1.75 including tip individually! Not sure which is correct, but we payed alot less than that for the cards on Royal Carribean, and it was for unlimited drinks. Can anyone else advise? By the way, great review posted this week by Earnie on the Atlantica - I'm feeling a bit better about our upcoming cruise. There's an awful lot of negatives posted everywhere, and only have experience with RCCL to date.

Betsy... go with the intention of having a good time and you surely will. It is a great ship. Not your usual cookie cutter cruise. It is alive and throbbing! You'll see.
