We'll be arriving in San Juan on the Atlantica at 4:30 in the afternoon. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with a 9 and 15 year old at that time of day? Should we plan to eat on the boat? How about the Latin Tradition Show - is it fun for kids, and how late does it go? Thanks for your help!
We had a 5 and 3 year old and it was tough. As soon as we got off we went to Fort Christbol. It closes at five so you have to hurry. We did get in early and had close to an hour to visit and it was worth it. Great views, wonderful history. It is a part of the National Park System. You'll see it when you pull in to port. All you do is walk straight ahead a few blocks to get there. We were rushed but we enjoyed it. We ate dinner on the ship and afterwards went back out to find almost everything closed. The night clubs and restaraunts were still open. That was all old San Juan. I'm not sure what downtown has.
I hope you can find out more and enjoy the cruise we were there on 4/01/2001 cruise and had a wonderful time. If you have any other questions please feel free to e-mail me.
