Movies on board

Have just booked back to back on the Costa Atlantica next January and I have a few questions.
1) The brochure deck plan does not show any movie theater. Is there a daily movie shown on the ship? If so - where?
2) Are movies shown on a TV channel in the cabin on a continual basis? How about variety - just returned from a Celebrity cruise where 6 or 7 movies were shown over and over for 17 days.
3) Have booked a suite and see that there is a VCR in the cabin. I called the cruise line and asked if they had movies on board to check out and they said NO. Is this true?? Why have VCRs if there is no way to use them.? I certainly am not going to buy a bunch of movies to take with me and the rental for 14 days would break me - What's up??

Any help would be appreciated.

1. No dedicated movie theater on board... but movies are shown most days in the ships main theater.

2. There are a number of movie channels on the tv system... with a good selection of movies over the course of the voyage

3. Suite passenger do have free access to VCR tapes. Your butler can bring you the list.

Sounds like your planning to spend more time in your cabin then out. Might as well stay home.
