I am reading a great book, John Grisham's The Broker. Much of it takes place in Italy. It brings back a menory about cappuccino. Quote: "Habits and customs are important. They're easy to learn and quite enjoyable. For example, never order cappuccion after ten-thirty in the morning. But an espresso can be ordered at any hour of the day." It goes on to say, "Only tourists order cappuccino after lunch or dinner. A disgrace. All that milk on a full stomach."
BTW, we have cruised Costa many times and my husband always orders cappuccion after dinner and is always told, no. Unless, they have given in to the American way, there is no cappuccion after 10:30 AM.
