Costa Romantica, Dubai - Savona, Italy -3/29/08 - ideas?

I have several relatives going on the 16 night Dubai-Savona cruise on the Romantica leaving Dubai on 3/29/08. Does anyone have any suggestions about this ship and/or the excursions (Muscat, Salalah, Aden, Safaga, Sharm El Sheikh, Alessandria, Napoli and Savona). Ages range from 28 to 78. Thanks for your help.
