12/21 Costa Fortuna with teenagers

We are looking at several options for a last minute cruise over Christmas vacation and from a dollar and cents standpoint, this sailing makes a lot of sense. My biggest concern is that traveling with our two teenaged sons (15 and 19), will there be enough other kids their own ages to keep them occupied? All of us are veteran cruisers, our last several voyages on Princess and Carnival, so this would definitely be a departure for us.

Any thoughts?

I had the same same concerns but we're on the Costa 12/21 with an and18 and 20 yr old--you might want to look at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=488

It looks as if there will be a number of late teens / early 20's

Thanks for the reply. We actually ended up opting for the 12/21 Carnival Valor. We were able to secure a better deal and thought the ports were more interesting!

Other last minute cruiser families should look at the Fortuna. I like the schedule with 4 good days in port (never more than 1 consecutive day at sea) and interesting ports for active families. Check out sting ray city and dolphin excursions.
