Hello, I am 18 years old, and would like to gain employment on a cruise ship, but despite much research I am still unsure of the minimum age requirements. I was wondering if anyone knew whether there is any job on a ship that may accept a person of my age, with A-Levels in two foreign languages plus law, but no related experience?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Adele, Try contacting the cruise lines directly, as they have different age requirements for different positions (so I am told), I do believe that casino and bar personnel must be at least 21.

I worked for carnival for awhile. I was 20 when i was hired but i had alot of experience in my field. Your going to have a hard time getting a job at 18. Especially with no related experience. But it never hurts to try. Let me know if you have anymore questions...
