Yes...I have posted this message before but still haven't seen any answer: Does anyone know anything about the Spas that this Company (Harding Brothers) run on Cruise ships; how they work and what crew members may expect. Thanks.
So... you really didn't like the experience with Harding Brothers, huh? !! Do they just pay a fixed salary or we also can receive comission for services and retail? If only 600 pounds a month for that number of hours I rather just stay on land and make 2 1/2 more than that and working only 6 hours a day.
Most of the shop staff work for the experience and the lofe rather than the money.
The money you earn is your own, as food and accomodation is included.
I have heard you can earn good commision, however the ship I was on failed to make targets.
As for hours - we have most of the time off in port as the shops are closed, but it is never a set working schedule.
Looking back it was the best thing i ever did and i am joing another ship with a different company very soon.
If you are interested in working at sea, shop staff have it easier than other departments regarding time in port, and if you dont have any commitments i would say do it for 6 months and see for yourself, you can allways come home if you dont like it.
I have passed the telephone interview but was wondering if anybody knew what to expect from the group interview. Type of questions on the 1 to 1 interview and also the type of group activities. I really want this job and I am very nervous so any advise to help me stand out would be great.
I see you passed the telephone interview recently. I have mine today, can you give me any tips on what they asked you? When is your 1-2-1 interview being held? im based in london and presume if i pass i need to travel to bristol for interview. Any tips on both interviews would be a great help.
I presume you had your interview now if not.... It was very good couple ice breaker exercises very fun just be yourself full of energy and a positive attitude. Then information about the company and ship life. Then a 1.2.1 interview just about yourself why you want this job past expereienc ect. I was offer a position and have my training next week. I am also based in London maybe I'll see you there.
I have a Telephone Interview on the 19th April with Harding, I'm from Oxford with a big customer service background, can anyone give me some info on what I would be asked during the telephone interview and what the current pay for a Retail Sales Consultant is.
