Does ship email work under harsh weather conditions?

Just wanted to know if ships experience bad connections during hurricane season?

Yes they do. Sometimes there is no communication because of the hurricanes, therefore problems with the satellite.

it usually does work at sea but I actually just found out that one ship lost it's server access.
