Default On-board Crew Parties

I have heard that the best parties on board are held by the crew members. I have a friend who has attended crew parties and thoroughly enjoyed herself.

My question is, how can I get invited if there is one on the NCL Majesty sailing 12/4/04?

Another question of crew members. On NCL lines, they dock passenger's accounts for gratuities which is fine by me. That being said, if I wish to tip my cabin steward or other crew members over and above what the ship takes care of, how much is considered a good tip and will it get any better service? I want to do all I can to enjoy my cruise.

you can't go to any crewparties or the crewbar unless you are crew yourself o yuo are a guest of a crew and signed into their cabin onboard... meaning you are staying with them and are not considered a "regular' passenger.

Thanks for the info. I guess it rules that out. Must have been a different cruise line my friend was on.

In addition some of the cruiselines are cracking down on the drinking by the crew to the point I have heard rumors that one line only allows crew to purchase two drinks a night!.

24 cruises and counting!

Jim, if you do indeed live in a great State ... the State of Confusion, then you may consider yourself to be lucky. You should try living in the State of Calamity... its my kind of State. hahahaha!!!! Cheers!

You can get invited to crew parties if you get to know some of the crew., usually it is hush hush,
I have been to several and yes, they are the best parties on board.
