I've been looking for any information about cruise ship jobs for the last couple of months.Untill today I was searching for someone who could give me some advises how I can aply for this kind of employment.I have never met anyone who's working in such different places that's why internet is the only one way I can go through to get any more info.I'm 25 years old and I've been in London for the last 8months,looking for new challenges,love photography.I've got one small exhibition,in the future would love to make it bigger; this job could be a good opportunity for me to make my dream come true I'll appreciate if You find spare time to reply for my letter.

David is in charge of the Pursers area. I think the area that would suit you best if photography and if you go the any of the cruiseline websites it will show you how to apply and where to apply for a position. Remember the hours are very long and the pay is not all that great but the experiance is priceless.

I'm interested in finding a job with a cruise line. I've traveled before. I've been backpacking all over Europe. I've been to Mexico many times. In all these places i've helped rebuild or clean up places. I have awesome people skills that i need to put to good use. what kinds of requirements do I have to have?

Before anyone from the US applies for a job, unless it is NCL-America, you need to realize that most jobs go to foreigners. I'm referring to the back-breaking jobs like room steward, waiter, food prep, deck crew.

But for U.S. & Brits you can think about: photography, spa (hair & massage services), cruise staff (if you don't know what this is I suggest you take at least one cruise to find out - but think of Julie on Love Boat); casino, gift shop sales, youth coordinator, pursers office, information technology, videographer, stage techs and performers.
