My wife and I are seeking shipboard employment this next year. We will be working in different areas of the ship. I understand that each department bunks with thier own department members. Is there possibilities that we can bunk together as a married couple even though we work in different departments? She is a hairdresser (w/Steiner) and I am a Casino Dealer.
I already know about trying to get on the same ship as she will be on, but I am wondering about bunking together. Any help is appreciated.
May your waters be blue and calm, your sunshine yellow and warm, your hair blowing in a gentle breeze and your Rum flows plentiful and goes down with ease!
Yes - married couples working on the same ship will be accomodated in almost all cases. There might be some separation while the logistics are worked out. I had to sleep on a hospital examination bed for two weeks on one ship I worked on until they were able to secure a cabin for me. But on other ships I had a cabin to myself that would have been comfortable for two people.
