What are the best/worst cruise lines to work for? Help?
This is my first post here, and I wanted to say that everything that people have writen in the past has been very helpful to me. Some of you give some very practical and helpful advice to people, and I have been trying to soak it up like a sponge ever since I discovered your site.
I have always wanted to work on a cruise line, and am at the point in my life where I can finally do something like this. I have been a single parent for 15 years, and my sons are finally grown, and on their own. I have my resume just about done, and was wondering if anyone had any imput on which cruise lines are the best to work on. I am an american, and have a ton of customer service experience, as well as sales, and am a great people person... blah blah blah right? Anyway, any help you can provide would be great!
There is a lot of info in the threads of this board. They list Cruise Lines and even tell you the names of some of the recruiters.
You may have to do some research in order to find them. They are somewhere in this folder. I just don't know exactly where.
Good luck in your search!
On another board. a crew member posted this. Hope it helps.
I just found this from one of the ex-cruise staff/crew online groups I'm part of. Hopefully it will help those who have expressed interest:
