Need Help! Advice on applying for a shopping port lecturer

I am currently working on getting a job as a shopping excursion port lecturer, and was wondering if anyone had some helpful advice on landing this job. I have found two different web-sites of companies that recruit for this position, but am not aware if the cruise lines themselves also hire for the job, or if they just use the agencies.

I have already prepared a pretty good cover letter, as well as tailored my resume to suit this type of job, however, any tips that you might have as to what they are looking for, or what might be impressive or negative in the application process, would be of great help to me.
