Any ICM's here?? I'd love to know more about the job and it's actual daily duties. The website description doesn't really say much...

no, more likely they just don't frequent this forum.

I do remember seeing somewhere on the web a systems manager with a really good blog, but never bookmarked it.

On my line, the cafe is run by the guys/gals who run the entire ship's systems. Seem to remember the ICM's on ships are more a consessionaire

Thanks for a reply and I will look for that blog-sounds like 1 I haven't come across!

I am aware it's a concessionaire job too, I've been on the website of the company that employs people as ICM's, was just looking for an actual job description from a current or former ICM, since they sometimes tend to be different then what's printed! ;-)

May I ask what line you work on that has their own ICM, cuz I thought I saw that most of the major lines used the same company?

Here is a blog i read about working a woman working on two ships P & O at first and then Princess 2nd) as an internet cafe coordinator. Must warn you this blog is long and has a LOT of entries at first!
